Zaporozhya State Medical University
Zaporozhye State Medical University (ZSMU) was established in 1973 in Ukraine. It is one of the oldest and historic medical universities in Ukraine as well. It holds the highest level of accreditation with 52 departments, research labs, post graduate programs and a preparatory faculty for foreign students. Today 6000 students are enrolled in this university among 1100 students are foreigners. Since 1973 it trained thousands of medical professionals and it was the first university to open a preparatory faculty for foreigners.
ZSMU is popular because of its highly qualified and academic staff with research achievements. Furthermore, the majority of the teaching staff is qualified with advanced scientific degrees which include many professors and doctors of science. This university is also known for its contribution in cardiology, surgery and pharmacy. Plus, its medical specialists performed the first heart,kidney,liver and pancreas transplant in Ukraine. ZSMU has a modern medical diagnostic center which is fully equipped with advanced technologies like ultrasound systems, CT scanners, X-ray machines and more.
The ZSMU campus provides excellent facilities for study and student life.
