Wuhan University was founded in 1893 as the Ziqiang Institute, and it officially became Wuhan University in 1928. It is a public comprehensive university located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and is directly administered by the Ministry of Education of China.

For International Students (MBBS Program):
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport.
- Must have completed high school or equivalent education.

Duration of Study
- MBBS Program: 6 years (including 1 year of internship)
- Other Bachelor’s Programs: 4 years
- Master’s Programs: 2 to 3 years
