Alte University was established in 2001 in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia. It is a private institution that is now ranked in top well recognized universities, with four main schools such as Business, Medicine, Law & Social Sciences, and IT. Students from all across the world can choose from more than 11 degree programs, including popular degrees like Medicine, Dentistry, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Computer Science, and Tourism.

Medical Programs (One-Cycle Degree)

- Valid passport.
- Recognized high school certificate (signed and stamped).
- Proof of English proficiency at B2 level or evidence of at least one year of prior education in English.
- If English proof is missing → pass Alte University’s internal B2 English test.
- Short online interview (about 5 minutes) to check English skills and motivation.
- Computer Science only: Internal math test in English.
- Transfer applicants: Only accepted up to 5th semester; must provide transcript with ECTS credits and course syllabi.
Master’s Programs (Law, Business Administration)
- Completed application form.
- Valid ID or passport.
- Recognized Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Recognition certificate if the degree is from outside Georgia.
- Pass the Unified Master’s Examination (English + subject-specific tests) with a positive result in at least 3 of 4 parts.
- Mandatory interview with admissions committee.
- Law program only: Bachelor of Laws degree required.
Transfer Students
- Full transcript with ECTS credits (signed and stamped).
- Course descriptions or syllabi from previous studies.
- Transfers accepted only up to the 5th semester.
To study at Alte University, most non-EU students need a Georgia Study Visa (Type D). The general requirements include:
- A valid passport with at least six months’ validity.
- An official admission/acceptance letter from Alte University.
- Proof of sufficient financial means or bank statements.
- Proof of accommodation in Georgia (hostel booking or rental agreement).
- Visa application form and recent passport-sized photos.
- Travel health insurance covering the duration of stay.
- Paid visa application fee.
Students usually apply for the visa through the nearest Georgian Embassy or Consulate, and processing can take 2–4 weeks depending on the country of application.
Bachelor’s Degrees:
