International School of Medicine
The International School of Medicine (ISM) was established in 2017 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In 2003 it was established as a division of the International University of Kyrgyzstan. The main goal of this medical university is to provide high quality medical education that meets all international standards.
The educational program “General Medicine” has been implemented at ISM since 2018 in accordance with the experimental curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the standards of universities accredited in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and a number of other countries of the British Commonwealth, as well as in the European Union. ISM provides all modern facilities such as fully equipped laboratories, advanced libraries with up to date journals and more. Furthermore, the university is top ranked and offers a warm welcoming environment for international students.

- Completed secondary school education (12 years) with subjects like biology and chemistry.
- Valid passport.
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Application form with passport-sized photographs.
- Entrance test in biology, chemistry, and English..
Admission Requirements For Disabled Persons
The list of documents for admission of persons with disabilities:
- Original and copy of the document proving identity, citizenship (passport/passport with appropriate visa);
- original and copy of the document on education (Certificate with attachment/ certificate of 12-year basic secondary education);
- 4 photographs – 3×4 cm.
- Copy of disability certificate (if disabled).
- A copy of the individual rehabilitation program.
- Conclusion of the psychological-medical-pedagogical commission (for students with disabilities).
- Certificate from the psychoneurological dispensary indicating the possibility of training in the chosen profession (for persons with disabilities).
Admission Requirements For Transfer Students
The required documents when transferring a student from another medical school:
- Copy of passport with appropriate visa.
- Transcript/academic certificate.
- Certificate from the place of study.
- Original document of education equivalent to the state document on secondary school. education or secondary vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic (certificate of 12 years of basic secondary education).
- 10 photographs 3×4.
- Application to the rector.
General Medicine
The tuition fee is $3500 to $4000 per year.
Nursing
The tuition fee is $1000 to $2000 per year.
ISM offers limited scholarships and financial support. Some scholarships are merit-based for outstanding students, while others are provided through international cooperation programs or government initiatives.
