Medical Program
The General Medicine program is six years long. Instruction is in English. It includes academic (theoretical) subjects and practical/clinical training. After the first year or two of basic sciences, students move into clinical rotations. In addition to tuition, there are costs for insurance, temporary residence, medical checkups, etc.

Step 1: Submit Your Documents
International European University (Ukraine, Malta Campus) has made the admission process simple and convenient for international students.
- Send your documents via email or fill out the online application form on the official website.
- Required documents:
- Valid Passport or other ID
- School Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree with Transcript (if applicable)
- Completed Application Form
- English Proficiency Certificate (B2 level)
- Once admitted, the university will email you the Admission Letter and Tuition Fee Invoice.
Step 2: Pay the Tuition Fee
- After receiving the Admission Letter, you must pay the first-year tuition fee promptly to receive the Invitation Letter and start the visa process.
- The bank details for payment are included in the Admission Letter (it can also act as the invoice).
- If needed, the university can issue a separate invoice upon request.
- Step 3: Receive the Invitation Letter
- EU citizens: No Invitation Letter required.
- Non-EU students must submit the following to get their Invitation Letter:
- Copy of International Passport
- Completed Application Form
- Payment proof for one academic year’s tuition fee
- Invitation Letters are issued within 3–5 weeks after submitting all required documents.
- This letter helps demonstrate to the Maltese Embassy that you are enrolled at the university and have a valid reason to travel, which facilitates the visa process.
Step 4: Apply for a Student Visa
- For EU citizens, a visa is not required.
- Non-EU citizens must apply for a Maltese Student Visa at their nearest Maltese embassy or consulate.
- Book your visa appointment as soon as tuition is paid.
- The Maltese visa application can also be completed fully online — check with your local embassy for details.
Required documents for a Maltese student visa:
- Completed Malta Visa Application Form
- Two passport-size photos
- Valid International Passport
- Travel medical insurance
- Proof of accommodation in Malta
- Evidence of sufficient financial means for living and return travel
- Proof of tuition fee payment for one year
- Original Invitation Letter from the university
- English Proficiency Certificate
- Paid visa fee receipt
Step 5: Arrive in Malta
- Send your flight details at least 5 working days before arrival so a university representative can meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation and the campus.
- Upon arrival, the university will help you complete the final admission steps within 1–3 working days, after which you can begin your classes immediately.
The tuition fees are as follows:
General Medicine
The yearly tuition for General Medicine is about €7500.
Bachelor of Management
The full tuition fee of the degree is €4000.
Master of Management and Business Administration
The full tuition fee of the degree is €4500.
Additional Expenses
Medical Insurance: €190 per year.
Temporary Residence Permission: €200 (one-time payment).
Admission Fee: €1000 (one-time payment).
Other Expenses
Other expenses include Administrative Fee, Registration Fee, Notary Certification Fee which is €800 (one time payment).
Visa application fee: €150 (first year only).
Accommodation Confirmation Fee: €200 (one-time payment).
