Georgian National University SEU is a higher education institution, established in 2001 and located in Tbilisi, the safest and friendly city. It enrolls approximately 8,000 to 11,000 students in various programs across four main faculties such as Medicine, Business & Technology, Law, and Social Sciences. Plus the university has about 22 accredited programs available at the bachelor’s, master’s, and medical levels.
SEU has earned national accreditation from Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) along with international recognition from bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO), FAIMER/IMED, ECFMG and is eligible for PLAB (UK).
The university campus covers roughly 85,000 m² and features modern infrastructure including research labs, robotic surgical training tools, 3D anatomy tables, a team learning center, a large library, sports areas, green terraces, and an on-campus hospital affiliated with the medical faculty. For Bachelor’s (Undergraduate) Programs
- Completed application form.
- Original general education certificate or high school diploma, along with the transcript of grades.
- Copy of passport.
- Two passport sized photographs (3×4 cm), with at least one electronic version.
- If applicable, proof of military registration for male applicants.
- If age is under 18 years then submit a Birth certificate and presence of a parent or legal guardian at registration.
- Interview for English proficiency and motivation conducted in person or via video.
- Documents issued abroad must be translated into Georgian and notarized, and then recognized by Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
- Upon receiving a conditional offer, applicants need to pay tuition fees, the Ministry of Education issues final approval and SEU sends an unconditional offer letter.
For Master’s (Graduate) Programs
- Filled application form.
- Copy of passport or ID.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (notarized), or a provisional certificate if the final degree is pending.
- Copy of military registration document, if applicable.
- Digital photo (3×4).
- Results of the Georgian Unified Master’s Exam (obtained via National Exams Center).
- Certificate of B2-level proficiency in a foreign language, if available.
- Interview conducted by the admissions committee.
For Transfer Students (Bachelor’s Programs)
- All standard documents for undergraduate admission.
- Full transcript indicating ECTS credits and course syllabi from the previous institution.
- Transfer requests are only accepted up to the 5th semester.
Georgia Study Visa (D 3) Requirements
- Valid Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least six months.
- Letter of Admission: You need an official acceptance letter from a recognized Georgian university.
- Proof of Financial Means: Submit bank statements, sponsorship letters, or tuition payment receipts to demonstrate financial capability
- Academic Credentials: Provide your previous educational certificates and transcripts.
- Health Insurance: Valid travel or medical insurance covering your stay in Georgia.
- Recent Photographs: Typically two or three passport-sized photos.
- Application & Processing:
- Apply through the Georgian embassy or consulate in your country of residence via the official e-visa portal or in person.
- The visa fee generally ranges between approximately $20 to $100.
- Processing time can vary normally, processing time takes 2 to 4 weeks.
Medicine (MD / MBBS)
The tuition fee of MD or MBBS is between $5500 to $6300 annual.
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
The tuition fee of DMD is $5000 annually.
Bachelor’s Programs in AI / IT
The tuition fee is $3900 per annum.
Graduate (Master’s) Programs
The first year fee is $5000 only for selected programs. The fee may vary by specialization.
Merit Based Scholarships
