      Avoid tourist-to-student visa switches

Entering Georgia on a tourist visa and attempting to switch to a D-3 visa from within Georgia is highly risky and can lead to visa denial and long-term entry bans.

Entry Denials Are Possible Even With Visa

Even with a valid D-3 visa, some students especially from certain countries have faced denial upon arrival due to discretionary immigration enforcemen.
