Capital Medical University (CACUS) was established in 1960 as Beijing Second Medical College and later renamed to its current name. It is a public university administered by the Beijing Municipal Government, the National Health Commission of China, and the Ministry of Education. Over the decades, CMU has grown into one of the top-ranked medical universities in China, known for its strong teaching hospitals, medical research, and professional training.
