Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) was established in 1944 in Chernivtsi Ukraine. Over the years of its existence (1944-2025) the University has trained more than 35 000 specialists including the following specialties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Pediatrics, Medical Psychology, Clinical Pharmacy. BSMU has 4 facilities of Medicine, 48 departments, a well equipped scientific institute, educational pharmacy and a medical college.
In 2019 the Center of Simulation Medicine and Innovation Technologies was founded at the University, which provides learning and mastering practical skills of students, interns and medical practitioners.
