Andijan State Medical Institute
Andijan State Medical Institute was founded in 1955. It is a public state medical institute under the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan. Andijan State Medical Institute has grown over the decades into a well-known institution offering multiple medical and health science faculties. It operates more than fifty departments and has several hundred academic staff, including professors, associate professors, and lecturers. The institute has around eight thousand students, including several hundred international students. Instruction is available in English medium for certain programs, as well as in Uzbek and Russian, depending on the faculty.
