Osh State University
Osh State University was established in 1939 as a teacher’s training institute and later developed into a full university. The International Medical Faculty was founded in 1993 to specifically serve international students who wanted to study medicine in English. Admission of foreign citizens for contract-based education at OshSU faculties is organized by the Admissions Committee of Osh State University.
Foreign citizens may be admitted to the first year of contract-based education at OshSU if they have:
- Passed preliminary document verification

- Possess a valid visa meeting all requirements of the Law on Migration
- Successfully passed the entrance examinations
- Signed a contract between OshSU and the applicant

The Admissions Committee of OshSU verifies all submitted documents, visa compliance, and transfers personal files to the Department for Foreign Student Affairs, including:
- Copy of the passport with visa
- Copy of the educational certificate translated into Kyrgyz or Russian and notarized.
After passing entrance exams:
- The personal file of the foreign student is transferred to the Department for Foreign Student Affairs by November 30, 2022.
- Original documents (education certificates, language course certificates, diplomas, etc.) are stored in the HR Department of OshSU until graduation.
Acceptance of documents for the 1st year is carried out until October 15, according to the deadlines set by MoES KR.
Tuition fees for OshSU faculties and educational structures are set by the university and stated in the individual contract.
Students may face disciplinary measures, including expulsion, if they:
